Truck Bed Freeze Prevention for Sand & Gravel is led by Liquid Heat Conveyor Belt Deicer & Ice Preventative, a non-flammable, non-hazardous liquid deicer used for semi-truck beds hauling sand, rocks, coal, wood chips, mulch, and other bulk materials. Liquid Heat acts as both a deicer and ice preventer, remains liquid and easy to spray in extreme cold, and can be applied using automated spray systems or manual sprayers.

Sand itself does not prevent freezing. It provides traction on icy surfaces but does not lower the freezing point of water. For truck beds hauling sand, gravel, coal, wood chips, mulch, and similar bulk materials, Liquid Heat Conveyor Belt Deicer & Ice Preventative can be applied to the truck bed surface before loading to help prevent freeze-stick carryback in cold-weather hauling conditions.
