Application duration varies by product, surface condition, traffic, weather, dilution, and application method. RDS38 Road Dust Stabilizer lasts approximately 3–4 months per application. Glycerin DC-100 lasts approximately 3–4 weeks per application. Latex 100 Static Dust Control Sealant is used on static or undisturbed pile surfaces, with duration depending on dilution ratio and site conditions.

Glycerin DC-100 is Zircon's strongest fit for applications where a biodegradable option is required. It is listed as 100% biodegradable, safe for aquatic life, and derived from soy oil as a byproduct of biodiesel manufacturing. It is self-applied by mixing 50/50 with water and spraying directly onto unpaved road surfaces. Customers should still review product labels, SDS materials, and site-specific environmental requirements before use near waterways or sensitive areas.

Equipment requirements depend on the product. RDS38 Road Dust Stabilizer is delivered and applied by Zircon as a turnkey service, so no customer equipment is needed. Glycerin DC-100 is a self-applied product mixed 50/50 with water and sprayed on unpaved road surfaces. ZHP Water Wetter Non-Ionic Surfactant can be used in water-based dust suppression programs and may be paired with Zircon's truck-mounted transfer system where appropriate.

ZHP Water Wetter Non-Ionic Surfactant is designed to address OSHA 1926-1153 surfactant requirements for asphalt milling machine dust control. It is used as a water additive in dust suppression programs.
